What Are Fire TV Profiles?

Fire TV profiles let you have a personalized experience for each profile on your device.

Profiles aren't available on:

  • Fire TV (1st Generation)
  • Fire TV (2nd Generation)
  • Fire TV Stick (1st Generation)

With Fire TV Profiles, certain features on the home screen are personalized for each profile on your device. For example:

  • Watchlists
  • Viewing history
  • Recommendations
  • Watch progress

You can also customize the apps and channels on the main menu and some device settings, like language and accessibility.

App subscriptions, rentals, and content purchased on your Amazon account are shared with other profiles on your device. You can have a total of six profiles on your Fire TV. Up to four can be Amazon Kids profiles.
