ALERT: Software issues with TCL 6-Series TVs featuring Google TV
Some users are reporting concerns on the stability of the user interface on the TCL 6-Series featuring Google TV. As we strive to continue improving the viewing experience of our end-users, we recently released a new software update to 6-Series TVs featuring Google TV. Your television should update automatically. If you would like to ensure you have the most recent software, you can click here to view step-by-step instructions on how to easily perform an update.
You have the option to disable the Roku features of your TCL Smart TV. During the initial setup you can choose to use the device as a regular, non-smart TV. You will need your TCL Roku TV remote to navigate the menu options. Follow the instructions below as you complete the Guided Setup. If you have previously activated the Roku functionality on your TV, you will need to do a factory reset on your device. Click here to view the how to instructions.
NOTE: Only connected devices (cable box, DVD player, etc.) will be displayed on the Home screen as viewing options. You can choose to activate the Roku feature at any time.
