You can get apps and games for your Android TV through the Play Store app.
Get Apps & Games
- From the TCL Google TV Home screen, scroll to "Apps."
- Select the Google Play Store app

Browse or search for apps and games.
- To browse: Move up or down to view different categories. When you find a category you’re interested in, move to the right to view items.
- To search: At the top of the screen, select Search
.
- Select the app or game you want.
- To install the app or complete your purchase, follow the on-screen instructions.
If you have trouble with your purchase, try a different payment method, like a credit card or PayPal.
Find a Previously Downloaded App or Game
In your TV's settings:
- From your TCL Google TV Home screen, scroll to Settings
.
- Select Settings
Apps.
In the Play Store:
- On your TCL Google TV, open the Play Store
- At the top, choose My Apps.
- Under “Apps installed,” choose an app
Delete an App or Game
In your TV's settings:
- From the TCL Google TV Home screen, scroll to Settings
- Under "Device," select Apps.
- Under "Downloaded apps," choose the app you want to delete.
- Select Uninstall
In the Play Store:
- On your TCL Google TV, open the Play Store
- Find the app or game you want to delete.
- Select Uninstall.
Tip: If you don’t want an app to show up in the top row of the TCL Google TV Home screen, turn off notifications for that app. Go to Settings
Update Your Apps
- On your TCL Google TV, open the Play Store
- At the top, choose My Apps.
- Under “Updates available,” you’ll find apps that can be updated. To update an app, select it or select Update all.
Turn on auto-update:
- On your TCL Google TV, open the Play Store
- At the top, choose My Apps.
- Select Open settings
