Can I Connect Bluetooth devices to Google TV?

 

Your TCL Google TV supports Bluetooth connections, allowing you to pair a variety of devices such as headphones, speakers, and game controllers. Please note that only one Bluetooth audio device can be connected at a time.


How to Pair a Bluetooth Device

To connect a new Bluetooth device:

From the Google TV Home screen, go to the top right and select your profile icon

Choose Settings

Select Remote & Accessories

Select Pair remote or accessory

Make sure your device is in pairing mode

Find and select your device from the list

On the pairing screen, select Pair to complete the connection

Tip: Paired devices will appear in the Remote & Accessories section. From there, you can rename or forget devices at any time.


How to Reconnect a Previously Paired Device

From the Google TV Home screen, select your profile icon

Go to Settings

Select Remote & Accessories

Under Accessories, choose your previously paired device

Select Connect


Troubleshooting Bluetooth Connection Issues

If your Bluetooth device won’t connect to your TCL Google TV, try the following:

Basic Troubleshooting Steps

Turn off your Bluetooth device, then turn it back on and try pairing again

Disconnect unused paired devices from your TV to avoid conflicts

Try a different Bluetooth device to see if the issue is with the TV or the original device

Unplug your TV for 10 seconds, plug it back in, and try again

If Your Bluetooth Device Connects to Other Devices (e.g., a phone or tablet):

The issue may be with your TCL Google TV—try performing a factory reset

If Your Bluetooth Device Doesn’t Connect to Anything:

Make sure the device’s firmware is up to date
