The Home Panel allows you to:
View and control compatible smart devices
Turn devices on/off
Adjust select settings from your remote
This feature works with devices connected to your Google Home app, such as:

You must be an owner or member of that Home
Your TV must be in Standard Mode (not Apps-Only or Basic Mode)
You must have at least one other smart device added to your Home (aside from your TV)
You need to opt in to the Home Panel feature

How to Set Up the Home Panel
1. Set Up Smart Devices in the Google Home App
First, make sure your smart home devices are installed and connected through the Google Home app on your mobile device.
2. Enable the Home Panel on Your TV
If you didn’t opt in when the Home Panel first launched, you can turn it on anytime:
From your Google TV Home screen, select Settings
Go to Accounts & Sign-in
Choose your profile
Select Google Home
Toggle the switch to enable the Home Panel
If you have a compatible doorbell connected, a toggle for that feature will also appear.
3. Open the Home Panel
You can open the Home Panel two ways:
From the Quick Settings dashboard (select the gear icon at the top of the screen)
Long-press the Home button on your remote
Once opened, navigate to the Home Panel tile to view and manage your connected devices.
How to Control Smart Devices
Once you’ve opened the Home Panel:
Your device categories (e.g., Lighting, Cameras) appear at the top
Your favorite devices appear below for quick access
Simply select a device to turn it on/off or adjust available settings
Make sure your Google TV and the Google Home app are signed into the same account to sync your devices properly.
Customize the Home Panel
To change which devices appear in your Home Panel:
Open the Google Home app
Add or remove Favorites
Reorder devices as desired
Changes made in the app will automatically reflect on your TCL Google TV.
