You can create a profile lock when signed-in to Google TV. With profile lock, you need a PIN to access your profile’s content on Google TV and when switching profiles.
You can enable this feature in 2 ways:
- When you set up your Google TV device for the first time, you’ll be prompted to set up a profile lock.
- Through the Google TV settings, where you can also update or deactivate the feature.
Set up a profile lock
Important: On devices with multiple profiles, when you set a profile lock on one profile, it sets the lock only for that profile.
- From the Google TV home screen, select Settings and then Accounts & Sign In and then Choose account.
2. Select the account you want to set the profile lock.
3. Turn on Profile lock.
If you’ve previously set up a device settings lock, it will automatically be converted to a profile lock.
