To easily identify your TCL Android TV while casting or when connecting from another device, we recommend setting its device name. Below are the steps on how to set or customize the device name of your television:
- Press the Home button on the remote control to go to the Android TV Home screen.
- Use navigational buttons and scroll to the Settings
icon. Press OK to confirm - Select Set your device name, then press OK to confirm
- Press ▲/▼ to select any of the names listed on the screen or choose Enter custom name to type your own
- Use the onscreen keyboard to type your preferred device name
- Press OK to confirm

- Scroll down and select Device Preferences, then press OK
- Select About and press OK
- Scroll down and select Device name, then press OK.
- Select Change and press OK to confirm
- Press ▲/▼ to select any of the names listed on the screen or choose Enter custom nameto type your own
- Use the onscreen keyboard to type your preferred device name
- Press OK to confirm
