Troubleshooting the TCL Projector A1

Try the steps listed below when troubleshooting the TCL Projector A1:

Issue Possible Solution
No projected image Turn off the projector and disconnect from the power, then plug in the power cord and turn on the projector.
Image is fuzzy or blurry Clean the projector lens.

Turn on automatic keystone adjustment in the projector's menus.

Adjust the Sharpness setting to improve image quality
No sound or the volume is too low or high Press volume buttons on the remote control.

Check the audio cable connections between the projector and your video source.

Check the video source to make sure the volume is turned up and the audio output is set for the correct source.
Remote control is missing or not paired, and the projector cannot be turned on remotely Check that the remote-control batteries are installed correctly and have power. If necessary, replace the batteries.

Make sure you are operating the remote control within the reception angle and range of the projector

Make sure the projector is not warming up or shutting down
If projector has overheated and turned off leave it turned off to cool down for about five minutes, then do the following:

Make sure that the vents and air filter are not clogged with dust or obstructed by nearby objects.

If the problem persists, unplug the projector and then restart in five minutes.
HDMI connection problem Make sure the device is securely connected to the projector's HDMI extension cable.

unplug the projector and then restart.
