Full Tank (FT) Error Code

In high-humidity areas, self-evaporating portable AC units may accumulate excess water in their internal reservoir. When the reservoir fills with condensation, the unit will stop running until it is emptied. To drain the water, open the drain port located at the bottom rear of the appliance.

Follow these steps to drain:

Manual Draining

1. Power off and unplug the unit from power source.

2. Place a pan under the lower drain plug.

3. Remove the lower drain plug.

4. Water will drain out and collect in the pan.

5. After the water is drained, replace the lower drain plug firmly.

6. Turn on the unit.

If the reservoir tank is constantly filling, it is recommended to use the continuous drain method. This is also recommended when running the unit on Dry or Heat mode.

Continuous Drainage

1. Power off and unplug the unit from the power source.

2. Remove the drain plug in the rear of the unit. Be cautious as some residual water may spill during this setup process.

3. Connect a standard garden hose to the threads if using the middle port.   A drain tube may be used on the bottom port.

4. The water can be continuously drained through the hose into a floor drain or bucket.

5. Turn on the unit.
