When the filter needs to be cleaned, the ”Filter” symbol will light up.   This indicator is just a reminder and will turn on after approximately 250 hours of use and not an indicator of the actual condition of the filter.

To clean the filter remove it from the back of the unit and vacuum it out.   If needed it can be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent.  Once the filter is completely dried it can be returned to the appliance.

For most models the filter LED can be reset by holding down the Filter button for 3 to 5 seconds.

For models without a Filter button hold down the TIMER button for 3 to 5 seconds to turn of the indicator.
