If app installs are stuck on “Download Pending”, try the steps below in order.
1) Check your internet connection
A weak or disconnected network is the most common cause.
Confirm your TV is connected to the internet:
Settings > Network & Internet (wording may vary by model)-
If you’re connected but the speed seems slow:
Restart your modem/router (unplug for 30 seconds, plug back in)
Restart the TV (see Step 3 below)
Tip: If possible, try a different network (like a mobile hotspot) to confirm whether the issue is your home Wi-Fi.
2) Turn on System Speedup (Launcher)
Some TCL Android/Google TVs include a System Speedup option in the Home screen launcher.
From the Home screen, look at the top-right corner.
Turn System Speedup ON (or run it, depending on how it appears).
Return to the app download and try again.
3) Restart the TV
A restart can clear download processes that get stuck.
Go to Settings > System > Restart (or Power > Restart, depending on model)
If you don’t see a restart option, unplug the TV for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
4) Try the download again
Go back to the Google Play Store, search for the app, and select Install again.
Additional tips if it still says “Download Pending”
Make sure storage isn’t full:
Settings > Storage and remove unused apps if needed.Check date/time settings:
Incorrect time can affect Play Store services. Set Automatic date & time if available.Sign out/in (optional):
If only one TV is affected, removing and re-adding the Google account can help, but try the steps above first.
If you tell me whether your TV is Android TV or Google TV (and the model/series if you know it), I can tailor the exact menu paths for your version.
