Fire TV Flickering During Streaming – Issue Resolved (as of July 31, 2025)

Some Fire TV OS users had reported flickering or distorted visuals while previewing or playing streaming content. We’ve received confirmation that Amazon has released a software update - Fire OS version 8.1.4.2 / 3030, which addresses and resolves this issue.

TCL Pixel Policy

PURPOSE:

Define the pixel policy to support in warranty service.

SCOPE:

TCL follows a guideline based on industry standard practices.

PROCEDURE:

The table below shows the allowable number of malfunctioning pixels that are acceptable, depending on the native resolution of the panel and allowing for 2 malfunctioning pixels per million pixels.
